DESCRIPTION:Judith Jungels\, Senior Conservator at the Peabody Museum of A
 rchaeology and Ethnology\, will lead this special workshop\, which is free
  and open to everyone. She will offer tips and demonstrations on how to ca
 re for and preserve family papers\, photographs\, and memorabilia. There w
 ill be time for attendees with collections of their own to ask questions 
 — guests are invited to bring materials/your collection to discuss with 
 Judith. Prof. Rodney Obien\, Head of Special Collections & Archives at Kee
 ne State\, will also be on hand to assist at this workshop.Please note tha
 t advanced registration for this event is required. Registration will be c
 apped at 15 participants maximum to allow for ample engagement with our gu
 est presenter. Space is available on a first come\, first served basis. R
 EGISTER HERE---Facilitator Bio: Judy Jungels is a Conservator at the Peabo
 dy Museum specializing in objects and archival materials. Since joining th
 e museum in 2005\, she has worked on a wide range of projects\, with a foc
 us on exhibits\, loans and training of graduate and pre-program interns. S
 he has worked as a conservator with research teams in the US\, Turkey\, Gr
 eece\, Honduras\, and Peru. She earned her MA in conservation from the Buf
 falo State College's\, Patricia H. and Richard E. Garman Art Conservation 
 department and an MFA in from the State University at Buffalo.This event i
 s part of a 2026-2027 series of offerings being co-hosted by the KSC Archi
 ves in Mason Library and the Cohen Institute for Holocaust and Genocide St
 udies.
